U.S. BOMBS

U.S. BOMBS

The story of the US Bombs is really the story of style and substance working together, weaving excess with intelligence, punk rock fury with beautiful sentiments, and tying the spirt of 1977 to today. Born and raised to make beautiful noise, whether on a skateboard or while fronting the US Bombs, Duane Peters has lived life to the fullest, even if sometimes the “Master of Disaster” moniker he earned as a pro skateboarder has been more than a nickname. As the mouthpiece of the band, Peters has never been shy about tackling the taboo subjects like politics and religion but has also never left out his passion for skateboarding either, especially on classic tunes like “Jaks” and “Skater Dater.” Without fail, one thing Peters has protected and loved in his storied life, though, is “the Bombs,” and the band has put out one great record after another. From the first notes of 1994’s Scouts Of America EP, the US Bombs have made their mark on American punk rock. Full length records like Garibaldi Guard (1996), War Birth (1997), and Put Strength In The Final Blow (1995), among others, established the Bombs as a force to be reckoned and the band toured the world supporting their records and building a loyal fanbase around the globe.
